Throwback Thursday
Throwback Thursday
Today, I’m looking back on a time when endcaps were hand-built, planograms lived in binders, and product movement relied more on instinct than analytics.
From managing Walmart replenishment to building displays for Coca-Cola and General Mills, I’ve had the chance to live through the evolution of retail—where gut feel met data, and aisle execution became a science.
One moment that stands out? The first time I saw real-time sales data validate a merchandising decision I made in-store. That’s when I knew retail wasn’t just about stocking shelves—it was about influencing behavior, solving problems, and creating an experience.
Grateful for every reset, every early-morning truck unload, and every conversation with store managers. It all shaped the merchandising mindset I bring to the field today.
Here’s to the journey—and to never forgetting where we started.
