ThrowbackThursday From Store Aisles to Strategy Rooms

Reflecting on my journey, it all started with stocking shelves and learning the rhythms of customer behavior on the sales floor. From early roles at Walmart to leading data-driven merchandising strategies for Coca-Cola, General Mills, and Hershey, every step has shaped the way I understand retail—not just as a business, but as a people-first mission.

I’ve worn many hats: merchandiser, analyst, director, and outside sales rep. Each role taught me something new about leadership, adaptability, and delivering results, whether in a warehouse, a boardroom, or behind a product display.

Today, as the founder of Michael Mollitor Consulting, I draw from every chapter to help retailers and suppliers unlock growth through smarter merchandising, sharper insights, and meaningful connection.

Grateful for the path behind me—and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Here’s to the hustle, the pivots, and the purpose.
